Abstract:
In order to solve frequently roof accidents occurred of the fully- mechanized coal mining face under the special geological condition, for example, the lar ge area roof falling occurred during the fully- mechanized coal mining period, difficult support when the coal mining face passing through the abandoned gateway and th e thin base rock gateway, many roof falling accidents occurred at the terminal mining period and the long distance of no support roof during the coal mining period, taki ng Daliuta Mine and Huotuji Mine as study objects, a blasting forced roof falling technology with ultra deep boreholes at the initial mining period, accurately judge initial roof strata weighting technology, roof control technology of the coal mining face passing through abandoned gateway, roof control technology of the coal mining face pa ssing through thin base rock, roof control technology of the terminal coal mining face, beyond powered support suspended roof control technology during the mining per iod and other technologies were applied to control the roof accidents. The site application results showed that roof accidents were effectively controlled by above meas ures taken.
