Abstract: The paper stated the urgency of the green development for the coal industry, and held that the key of the green development for a large coal mining area need to well handle the relationship among the resources development, circulated conversion and green environment protection and to realize the integration of the eco nomic benefit, social benefit and environmental benefit. The paper systematically summarized the successful practice experiences of the green development in Pingshu 0 Mining Area, especially the typical practices on the resources development, circulated conversion and ecological construction in the recent years. Finally, under the b ackground to build China economic upgraded version and to build beautiful China, the paper provided the proposals on the green development from the enhanced gree n development idea in large coal mining area, the optimized green development mode, the development of the circulated economics and ecological industry, enhanced green management and control, technical innovation and other aspects.
