隔爆外壳内大容量锂离子蓄电池应用的安全性研究

Study on safety of large volume lithium ion battery applied in flameproof enclosure

  • 摘要: 为研究隔爆外壳内大容量锂离子蓄电池在煤矿应用中是否发生电池燃爆泄压、电池爆炸引起瓦斯二次爆炸、瓦斯爆炸引起电池二次爆炸等事故、以及事故产生的压力是否超过隔爆外壳设计允许等问题,分析了事故产生的原因,并通过电池短路、过充和瓦斯爆炸等模拟试验研究。研究结果表明:电池短路不会引起事故发生,但对电池内部产生破坏;电池过充引起电池发生燃爆泄压且压力超过隔爆设计允许值;隔爆外壳内瓦斯爆炸,不会引起事故发生且对电池的正常使用不会产生影响。

     

    Abstract: In order to study the large volume lithium ion battery in the flameproof enclosure applied to the coal mine weather or not would cause a deflagration and pressure released of the battery, cause the battery explosion to make a gas secondary explosion, cause the gas explosion to make the secondary battery explosion and other accident as well as the pressure occurred from the accident weather or not would be over the design allowance of the flameproof enclosure, the paper analyzed causes of accident occurred and had a study on accident with simulation tests of battery short circuit, overcharging, gas explosion and others. The study results showed that the short circuit of battery would not cause accident occurred, but would cause the failure in the battery. The battery overcharging would cause the battery explosion and pressure released and the pressure could be over allowance of flameproof enclosure design. The gas explosion occurred in the flameproof enclosure would not occur an accident and would not be affected to the normal application of the battery.
