Abstract: The paper stated the development history of fully mechanized coal mining technology in China.Based on the introduction on the representative hydraulic powered support,coal shearer,conveyor and other advanced modernized fully mechanized coal mining equipment in China, the paper summarized the fully mechanized C oal mining technique and applications in thin seam,medium seam and backfill mining and under the complicated geological conditions. From the view of the high cutting full seam one pass mining,slicing mining and fully mechanized top coal caving mining individually,the paper analyzed the fully mechanized coal mining technology of thi ck seam.Finally,the paper had a comparison the differences between China fully mechanized coal mining technology and the coal mining technologies in advanced cou ntries.
