Abstract: From the fully mechanized coal mining in the medium thick seam, the thin seam mining and the shortwall mechanized mining,the paper in detail stated th e development status of the fully mechanized coal mining technology and equipment in China and introduced the new breakthrough on the key technology and equipme nt.The paper analyzed the gap existed between the fully mechanized mining equipment made in China and the overseas products.From the improvement of the automat ion degree and the key parts relibility,the paper provided the development tendency of the fully mechanized coal mining technology.
