Automation Technology of Dilling Rod Friction Welding for Gas Drainage in Coal Mine

The consumption demand of the gas drainage drill pipe for coal mine is huge, previous drill pipe friction welding process mainly rely on manual loading a nd unloading which would cause labor-intensive, low working efficiency and a certain security risk.This essay describes the automatic drill pipe friction welding producti on system combined industrial robot with distributor mechanism.Firstly based on the production site layout, the basic parameters, including the working space, the payl oad and the movement accuracy was considered to select appropriate industrial robots.According to the characteristics of the drill pipe and the storage methods, the au thors designed the triaxial lifting mechanism hardware and software systems, which realized the distributing function and made it convenient for the robot to pick up the drilling rod.Finally, the friction welding machine, industrial robot and the control system of triaxial lting mechanism were integrated.
