Analysis on Affecting Factors and Technique Optimizing of Fractured Coalbed Methane Well

  • In order to optimize fracturing technology of coalbed methane well, taking the Southern Qinshui Basin as an example, the major affecting factors on fract uring effect of coalbed methane wells were discussed. The fracturing optimization scheme was put forward according to fracturing effect and the distribution of ground s tress based on the engineering data and the monitoring data of crack. The results suggest that main fractured length was obviously negative correlated with the distribu tion of ground stress. The ground stress is positive correlated with the volume of fracturing fluid and pumping pressure, was negative with sand concentration. The good fracturing effects can be obtained when the construction parameters of fracturing were conducted with a value in the optimized variation interval during the fracture opti mization design. The volume of fracturing fluid, sand concentration and injected sand volume, pumping pressure should be adjusted appropriately in the different groun d stress distribution area.
