Abstract
In order to improve the measuring accuracy of the borehole original gas pressure in the mining seam, according to the stress distribution law of the seam borehole surrounding, the paper discussed the seam borehole sealing equipment and the sealing material performances and studied the gas pressure measurement wit h the seam borehole under the geological conditions not suitable for the borehole dilling passed through the strata.With the experiments, the Portland cement would be added with the 5% (quantity fraction) of the aluminate cement to be the borehole sealing and grouting material for the seam gas pressure measurement.The comprehen sive borehole sealing technique with the capsule, the complex material and polyurethane was applied.With the data comparison with the gas pressure measurements of the boreholes passed through strata at the same experiment location, the results showed that the measured results of the two methods would be similar to each other a nd the similarity grade would be over 97%.The result showed that the applied technology to measure the gas pressure of the mining seam would be accurate and feasib
