Danger Evaluation and Control Technology of Coal Mine Gangue Spontaneous Combustion

  • In order to easily and rapidly evaluate the spontaneous combustion danger of the coal gangue and to implement the effective prevention, the spontaneou s combustion evaluation index system of coal gangue was established with the coal gangue spontaneous combustion tendency, air leakage and oxygen supply, heat gat hering and radiating and external conditions as the indexes.The index system was applied to evaluatie the spontaneous combustion danger of the coal gangue in Baijia zhuang Mine.The results showed that the spontaneous combustion danger of the coal gangue was high and was an easy spontaneous combustion gangue.A method Co mbined with an infrared thermal imaging technology and borehole thermometry technology was applied to the fire source detection of the gangue and the fire sources W ould be controlled with the overburden striping, grouting fire extinguishing and grouting sealing.With the technical control, the inner temperature of the gangue was redu ced from 390。C to 80。C below and meet the requirements of the related standards.
