  • In order to improve the economic benefit of the surface mine and to ensure the safety production, an optimization was conducted on the dumping site pa rameters and construction and development program, the dumping engineering safety of the surface mine was effectively protected and the dumping cost was controlle d. With the optimization on the outer dumping site parameters of the surface mine, based on the minimum stripping and transport work of the dumping site as the basic principle, the section height of the dumping site was optimized. There were four truck dumping program planes of the outer dumping site in the surface mine provided. A ccording to different dumping program plan, dump discharge volume and average weighted transport distance curve was dynamically drawn and the current value mode . | of the transport cost in the dumping site and the current value model of the land acquisition cost for the dumping site were established. The results showed that based on Inner Mongolia Yuanbaoshan Surface Mine as the study object, that the best dumping location was determined at Si He Village based on the total cost least principl e. Under different dumping process conditions, the reasonable dumping bench height was optimized to 26 meters in the new truck external spoil pile, and the opposite d irection development dumping process was adopted. the annual dynamic development and transport of the surface mine and the land acquisition cost would be differen t. The model of the transport in the dumping site and the land acquisition cost would be simple and reliable and would have certain reference value to solve the design and optimization of the truck and outer dumping site in other surface mine.
