Monitoring and Analysis on Operation Performances of 6.2 m High Cutting Hydraulic Powered Support Under Complicated Seam Conditions

  • In order to solve the stability control difficulty problem of the 6.2 m high cutting hydraulic powered support under the 1520° inclined complicated seam co nditions in Yangchangwan Mine of Ningdong Mining Area, a site monitoring and measuring as well as analysis was conducted on the operation conditions of the high cu tting hydraulic powered support in the coal mining face. The work resistance nonlinear evolution law of the high cutting hydraulic powered support was obtained.Along wi th the inclination reduced direction of the seam, the pressure at the meddle and low section would be low and the work resistance of the powered support would be 6 88 0.9 kN when the roof was not pressurized. When the roof pressure at middle and top section of the coal mining face was high, the average work resistance of the power ed support would be 9 343.7 kN, which could meet the design requirements.During the site mining process, the top coal left and other measures was provided in order t 0 keep the roof in completed, to reduce the roof broken rock causeing the bumping failure to the powered supports and to ensure the normal operation and safety contin ued mining of the site powered support.
