Abstract
The 3D electrode combined Fenton reagent was applied to the deep treatment of the coking waste water after the secondary biochemistry treatment.Und er the certain condition of the 3D electrode parameters, the factors affected to the TOC removal rate of the waste water and the waste water treatment effect were inves tigated and a comparison was conducted to the TOC removal effect of the conventional 3D electrode method. With the single factor experiments conducted, the optimum value of each parameter in the reaction system was determined as the followings: the pH value was 3.5, the H2O2 added value was 17.6 mmol/L, the reaction time was 90 min and the FeSO4.7H2O added value was 3.5 mmol/L.Under the circumstances, the TOC removal rate could be reached at 51.7%.The results of the ultraviolet abs orption spectrum analysis showed that the degradation and mineralization occurred on the organics in the waste water and thus could provide the reference basis to the 3D electrode combined Fenton reagent technology applied to the deep treatment of the coking waste water.
