  • In order to solve the serious stability lost and deformation problems of the surrounding rock along the pump chamber group under the deep and complicated conditions,the paper discussed the mining depth,fault structure,special layout structure of the pump chamber group affected to the surrounding rock stability of the chamber group.Based on the circumstances,from a view to reinforce the surrounding rock and to improve the stability of the support structure,a two strong stability control technolog y of the pump chamber group was provided under the deep and complicated conditions. The theoretical analysis and the numerical simulation were applied to analyze the t wo strong stability control technology to the enhanced mechanism of the surrounang cock and support loading mass and a site industrial trial was conducted.The trial result s showed that after the two strong stability support conducted,the total convergence between the roof and floor in the pump chamber was 65 mm,the convergence of the tw 0 sidewalls was 62 mm and the stability of the roadway surrounding rock was effectively controlled.
