Abstract
Taking the prevention and control of coal spontaneous combustion in goaf during No.3309 fully mechanized top coal caving mining face passing through a fault in Liangbaosi Mine as an example, the paper analyzed the easy spontaneous combustion causes of coal during the coal mining face passing through the fault an d in combination with the actual conditions of the mine, the paper provided the mining face ventilation quantity adjustment, the high level fire extinguishing borehole gro uting operation, shotcreting sealing, the nitrogen goaf injection and other comprehensive control measures.The results showed that the application of the measures coul d make the CO volume fraction of No.3309 fully mechanized top coal caving mining face reduced from previous 656x 10-6 to below 17x 10-6.The application of the meas ures could ensure the safety production of the mining face during the face passing through fault period and could provide the technical experiences to the fire preventio n and extinguishing in the goaf during the fully mechanized top coal caving mining face in easy spontaneous combustion thick seam passing through fault.
