Abstract
Based on the water quality analysis of the mine water in Fuxin Mining area, the mine water treatment effects of such coagulants as polyaluminium chlori de, polymeric ferric sulfate and polyaluminum ferric chloride were investigated by means of coagulation experiments. The treatment effects of the separate dosing of pol yaluminium chloride or polyacrylamide were then compared with that of the compound dosing of polyaluminium chloride and polyacrylamide. The studies demonstrate th at the mine water of Fuxin Mining Area is the mine water containing suspended solids; the three kinds of coagulants for mine water of Fuxin Mining Area have good trea tment effects, with polyaluminium chloride and polymeric ferric sulfate better than polyaluminum ferric chloride; the best coagulant and the best dosing quantity of differ ent kinds of mine water are difference due to component difference.Furthermore, the treatment effects of mine water under the separate dosing of polyaluminium chlorid e or polyacrylamide are worse than that of the compound dosing of polyaluminium chloride and polyacrylamide. When the dosing quantity of polyaluminium chloride is 2 5 mg/L and the cationic and nonionic polyacrylamides are 0.3 mg/L, the effluent turbidity is less than 10 NTU.Finally, polyaluminium chloride or polymeric ferric sulfate a s coagulant and polyacrylamide as coagulant aid are suggested in order to achieve better effects of the mine water treatment.
