Study on Pilot Test of Integrated Triangular Helix Drilling Rod in Soft and Outburst Seam

In order to solve the drilling bit jammed, the drilling bit buried and other problems occurred in the borehole drilling in the soft and outburst seam with heli x drilling rod, wide blade drilling rod and triangular drilling rod, the paper introduced integrated triangular helix drilling rod, discussed the structural features of the integr ated triangular helix drilling rod and studied the processing technology of the rod.A trial manufacturing of the rod was conducted.With the screw on/off test and the fract ure analysis conducted on the rod samples, the results showed that the torsional strength of the rod reached the designed requirements.A borehole drilling industrial tes t with the integrated triangular helix drilling rod and the ZYW-3000 mode hydraulic drilling rig was conducted in F15-24080 conveyor gateway of No. 10 Mine in Pingding shan TianDan Coal Mining Company Limited and the borehole completed rate was 100%.
