Study Status on Stabilizer of Coal Water Slurry

The paper introduced the study status on the several stabilizers in the coal water slurry technical area, including the polyacrylamide, sodium polyacrylate and polyviny| alcohol of the organic polymer stabilizer, the modified cellulose, guar gum and Arabic gum of the natural polymer stabilizer and the other type stabilizers. Those high molecular polymer or modified polymer could add to the coal water slurry system, which make the hydrophilic polar group with the bonding function in the bri dging between the particles could form stable network structure. Thus the viscosity of the coal water slurry could be increased and the stability of the coal water slurry C ould be enhanced. The application results were excellent.
