Research on Catalytic Combustion Effect Evaluation Method of Coal Combustion Adjuvant

  • Aiming at status of lacking scientific index for catalytic combustion evaluation of coal combustion adjuvant, the effects of CuSO4 and K2CO3on combusti on characteristics of Yangquan anthracite coal and Tiefa bituminous coal were investigated by thermal- gravimetric analyzer. Meanwhile, the carbon conversion in isoth ermal area, and carbon and hydrogen in residual ash were also discussed though the improved crucible type. The results showed that the catalytic combustion effects o f CuSO4 and K2C03on coal combustion could be evaluated comprehensively by three evaluation indexes, such as the ignition temperature of combustion characteristic s, the conversion in isothermal area and the carbon in residual ash. The results of distributed activation energy model presented that the change of distributed activatio n energy showed a good correspondence with the effects on catalyst in coal combustion, and proved the correctness for the indexes of ignition temperature and carbon conversion in isothermal area based on the kinetic model to evaluate the combustion supporting effect.
