Abstract
According to serious deformation,long sustained deformation,difficult support and other problems of the surrounding rock in deep mine roadway,the paper a nalyzed to know poor controllable deformation of the surrounding rock in the deep mine roadway. A primary support was applied to control the deformation of surrounding r ock by surpporting at once. Under the available engineering and technical condition,the primary support to control the deformation would be hardly realized and the econo mic benefit was poor. Thus based on high strength polygon closed type steel support,the multi control technology of roadway surrounding rock was provided and an optimiz ed design was conducted on the polygon closed type steel support. A bolt + anchor combined yield support was applied to primary support and the second support would b e conducted when the deformation value of the roadway would be 80% of the anchor extension value limit. The high strength polygon closed type steel support was applied to the powerful support. The application results in Xingdong Mine showed that with the application of the new support method,the deformation value of the surrounding rock in the mine roadway was less small,the total deformation value of the roof could be controlled within 52 ~ 72 mm and the support technology could well ensure the stability of the surrounding rock.
