Liquid carbon dioxide phase-change refrigeration and cooling technology of high temperature mine

  • In order to solve a high temperature and thermal disaster problems occurred in the production process of the coal mine, based on the space features an d technique characteristics of the heading face in the coal mine, a liquid carbon dioxide phase-change refrigeration and cooling technology with the liquid carbon dioxid e as the cooling sources of the high temperature coal mine was provided. The cooling volume released from the liquid carbon dioxide phase-change refrigeration and th e high temperature air from the heading face were applied to the heat exchange role conducted to reduce the environment temperature and humidity of the heading fac e. Meanwhile, the gas phase carbon dioxide from the phase-change would be injected to the goaf in order to prevent and control the coal spontaneous combustion. The liquid carbon dioxide phase-change refrigeration and cooling system would have a simple structure device, a convenient operation, low invested cost equipment, high s uitability and other advantages. A industrial trial of the liquid carbon dioxide phase-change refrigeration and cooling technology was conducted in No.52305 heading fac e of Banshi Mine. The results showed that when an average consumption rate of the liquid carbon dioxide was 1.015 m3/h, the air temperature of the heading face was reduced by 6.9。C, the humidity was reduced by4.94 g/kg and the uilization rate of the liquid carbon dioxide cooling volume was 77.36%. The liquid carbon dioxide pha se-change refrigeration and cooling technology could effectively improve the working environment in the underground mine and would have the high prospects of the pr omotion and application.
