Study on Symbol Gas and Index System of Coal Spontaneous Combustion in Zhongliangshan South Mine .

According to the analysis on the results of the programming temperature rising test with the coal samples from k1 seam in Zhongliangshan South Mine, t he lowest temperature of CO occurred was 77 °C.Therefore, CO was selected as the symbol gas of the spontaneous combustion in the mine .According to the wide test t emperature scope of the CO symbol gas and the influence by the air flow and the coal ultra slow oxidization, the absolute generation quantity index of CO gas and R2 i ndex (the ratio between CO increased value and oxygen reduced value) were provided to establish the index system for the early prediction of coal spontaneous combu stion.The R2 index when reached 0.4%0.5% was proposed to be the early warning value of the spontaneous combustion.
