Abstract
Shanxi is a major province of coal resources, but it is lagging behind in the development of coal-related mineral resources. In order to find out the occurrence of trace elements from coal in Datong Coalfield of Shanxi Province, and realize “one mine to multiple mines”, and provide theoretical support for the next exploration and development of associated mineral resources in coal of Shanxi Province, this paper adopts the method of collecting borehole data and coal mine sampling test was used to obtain trace elements in the coal sample. The content data were analyzed by cluster analysis and correlation analysis. on the content data of trace elements in 134 coal samples of the mine. The genesis of trace elements in coal were analyzed from four aspects: sediment source properties, sedimentary Paleogeography environment, magmatic activity and tectonic movement. The results show that light enrichment element in the Jurassic coal seam of Datong Coalfield is Rb, the light enrichment elements in the No. 4 coal seam are Ga, Th, Uand the light enrichment element in No. 3-5 coal seam is Li, Ga and Th, the light enrichment elements in No. 8 coal seam are Li, Ga, Th, U; Li, Ga, V, Rb, Cs, Sc and rare earth REE are homogeneously present in clay minerals. Among them, U and Th are mainly in the inorganic mineral zircon and apatite, Ge is mainly distributed in coal organic matter, V is mainly distributed in the No. 8 coal seam of Taiyuan formation, Al, Li, Ga, Rb, Cs, Sc and REE in coal are mainly deposited in peat swamp in the form of fine clay minerals, and the genesis of U and Th is related to the intrusion of magma, and the genesis of Ge is related to the adsorption of humic acid.
