Feasibility study of coalbed methane content test based on adsorption approved

  • In order to accurately measure the gas content of the seam, the coal samples of adsorption method after residual gas volume test completed was suggested to conduct “a 12 point temperature variation and pressure variation adsorption”,the adsorption data obtained should be regressively processed with the temperature-pressure-adsorption equation in order to have the relevant parameters of the temperature - pressure - adsorption equation. The temperature-pressure-adsorption could be applied to calculate the gas content of the seam under the condition (the temperature, pressure and balanced moisture) of the coal sample reservoir could be fully met. And the gas content should be approved with the coalbed methane content obtained from the geological survey adsorption method. Thus the calculation accuracy of the coalbed methane adsorption volume could be improved under the certain condition,so as to set up the gas drainage operation system.
