Study on Prevention Method and Analysis of Water Inrush Sources in Construction Mine

  • Mingxi Mine was a new constructed mine, the mining depth of the mine was deep.The geological structure and the hydrogeological condition was compli cated.In order to eliminate mine water inrush danger occurred in the mine construction process, according to the information of the boreholes and 3D geophysical explo rations, a study was conducted on the water inrush sources and prevention method.The results showed that the flling water sources of the mine came from the surface water and raining.The water inrush sources were the water flow of the fault and fractures in the Maokou limestone aquifer under the floor of the seam.Based on the dist ance prediction between the seam and Maokou limestone, and the full understanding of the water flow conditions of the fault and fractures, certain measures of preventi on, exploration, sealing and drainage were provided for the water disaster prevention.Since september of 2010, there was no limestone water inrush accident occurred i n underground mine construction project of Mingxi Mine and the mine was successfully in production.
