Application and experiment study on turbocharged and inter-cooling technology of mine flame proof diesel engine

  • According to a power insufficient and black smoke problems occurred in a mine flame proof diesel engine in Shuozhou Dongpo Mine,a turbocharged and int er-cooling technology was applied to a previous TY6100 Q mode natural aspiration mine flame proof diesel engine and a bench test was conducted. The test results showe d that after the application of the turbocharged and inter-cooling technology,a calibrated power of the mine flame proof diesel engine was improved by 46%. Harmful gas C O,NOxand HC emission values were highly reduced by 85.7%,73. 3% and 77. 3% individually. A smoke intensity was highly reduced by 70. 7%. A surface temperature of t he mine flame proof diesel engine was slightly increased,but could meet the requirements of MT 990- -2006 General Technical Conditions of the Mine Flame Proof Diesel E ngine. The power insufficient and poor harmful gas emission problems of the mine flame proof diesel engine were solved.
