Research on Technology of Overlying Strata Failure Monitoring in Fully-Mechanized Caving Coal Face with Shallow and Thick Loose Bed

  • In order to obtain the law of overlying strata deformation and failure in fully- mechanized caving coal face in coal seam with shallow and thick loose bed, based on the in- situ monitoring of No.6204 fully- mechanized caving coal face in Yangwangou Coal Mine, the seismic detection technique between two boreholes, bor ehole television peer technique, inner strata displacement monitoring technique and surface subsidence monitoring technique were used to monitor deformation and fail ure of overlying strata. The new integrated monitoring technology was provided to determine fissure zone height, analyze the caving zone and fissure zone of abscissio n, master the law of surface movement deformation. The results showed that the seismic detection technique between boreholes accprded with the borehole television peer technique in the fissure zone height determination, and theirs depth were 110, 106 m. The strata displacement monitoring technique and surface subsidence monit oring technique could reveal the failure characteristics of overburden strata from bottom to up. It was with high practical value in researching overburden deformation an d failure characteristics of fully- mechanized caving coal face with shallow and thick loose bed.
