Abstract
In order to study an enrichment degree, deposition condition and enrichment causes of the associated elements in the coal from Panxian Songhe Mine, Guizhou, taking nine coal samples from No.1 mining block, No. 2 mining block and No. 3 mining block of Songhe Mine as the study objects, a X-ray fluorescence spectr ometer ( XRF) and the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry ( ICP-MS) were applied to measure the major elements and trace elements in the coal. In combin ation with the microscope and the X-ray diffractometer ( XRD) as well as the related analysis and the sequential chemical extraction test ( SCEE),the elements deposit ion conditions were analyzed. The study results showed that the major elements of Si, Al, Ca, Mg and Mn in the coal mined from the seam would be normal in the conte nts from a view of the average value of the coal in China and other rest major elements would be loss in the contents. The trace elements of As and Co contents in the coal would be obvious enrichment related to the world coal. The As in the coal would be mainly deposited in the aluminosilicate minerals and the organic sulfur and com pounds. The Co would be mainly deposited in the aluminosilicate state and the sulfide. The hydrothermal effect of the Emai mantle plume and Emei basalt magma in th e region would cause an abnormal enrichment of As and Co elements in the coal.
