Design and Research on Wireless Methane Concentration Sensor Based on Single Wall Carbon Nanotube

  • According to the internet of things used for detecting the concentration of methane in the coal mine industry,a total solution of sensor borne with the sing le walled carbon nanotube loaded by palladium( Pd-SWCNTs) has been figured out on the basis of the protocol of the functionalized CNTs. The proposed sensor would be assembled by such functional modules as an antenna,a T-typed impedance match networks; a CMOS RF 1 DC rectifier and a Pd-SWCNTs sensor head,which being portrayed by a thin film with much flexibility,would become the cognitive end of the internet of things to commit to detect the concentration of methane that were readily received and identified by the movable detector end of the internet of things totally in remote ways. Study have shown that when adopting an antenna gained by 2.15 d Bi,and the transmitting power was 2 W,in corresponding to concentration of methane escalating from 0 to 100 x 10-6at the distance 1 meter away from sensor end. The result displayed that the movable detector end of the internet of things could achieve increment of the received signal strength index by 4 dB,and accordingly,the percen t increment of comparative analog identifier by 3%.
