Optimization and Engineering Practices on Support Parameters of Seam Gateway with Broken Roof

In order to solve the dficult support problem of the seam gateway with broken roof in Shaping Mine, with the measurement and test of the physical and mechanical properties of the coal and rock in the seam roof and floor, the FLAC3Dnumerical simulation software was applied to analyze the deformation features of the gateway surrounding rock under the different support conditions.The results showed that when the length of the anchor was 8 000 mm, the subsidence of the gateway「 oof would be small and could meet the actual requirements of the project.When the combined support plan with the bolt + anchor + reinforced bar mesh was applied, th e mechanics status of the gateway surrounding rock was remarkably improved and the driving speed of the gateway was increased by 20%.
