Abstract
According to common problems of serious cutter wear and structural failure of cutting in cutting process of coal and rock,a combination of hydraulic impact and cutting is designed by using the principle of pre splitting and cutting combined with breaking coal.EDEM discrete element software is used to simulate the process of hydraulic fracturing and cutting combined with broken coal,and the performance of broken coal with or without impact pre splitting is analyzed.The results show that the increase of coal hardness will reduce the cutting efficiency of the two cutting modes,the greater the hardness of coal,the greater the gap of cutting efficiency between the two cutting modes,and the pick with impact can output more cutting force.The cutting efficiency of the pick under impact is 15% higher than that without impact,and the cutting force output performance is increased by nearly 20%.Therefore,the impact pre splitting is helpful to the broken coal.
