Abstract
In order favorable to select and apply available several loose zone measuring and test methods under the different engineering background,an analysis and introduction were conducted on the theoretical method of the loose zone scale in the surrounding rock and the several physical measuring and test methods.A com parison study was conducted on the applied features of each physical measuring and test methods.The results showed that the acoustic method technology was relativ e mature and would have high requirements of the rock mass lithology measured and tested.The multi-point displacement measuring method would have large quantity measured data and the measuring accuracy would not be high.The seismic wave method and the geologic radar method could have a nondestructive testing,but the cos t would be high and the both two methods could be applied to the project with a high accuracy requirement.The borehole camera shooting method would be direct and h ave high accuracy,but the operation would be complicated and high cost and the method could not be suitable to the highly broken rock mass and other disadvantage.
