Practices on Fully Mechanized Coal Mining Under Broken Roof of Contiguous Thin Seams

  • In order to solve the difficulties in a fully mechanized coal mining face in the thin seam under broken roof conditions, a MG2 x 150 /421- PFD double dru m coal shearer, SGZ730 /320- LT mode middle double chain type scraper conveyor, ZY3400 /6. 5 /14 mode hydraulic powered coal face support, ZYZT3600 /14 128 mo de hydraulic powered face end support and other fully mechanized coal mining equipment were self researched and developed by Sichuan Huayingshan Guangneng Gr oup Corporation and were applied to the site technology trial in No. 11041 coal mining face of Liziya Mine. The trial results showed that the match of"the three machine" equipments was rational, the automation degree of the machineries was highly improved and the fully mechanized coal mining in the thin seam with a thickness less tha n 1 m under the condition of broken roof was successfully realized. During the trial mining period, the coal mining face was safely advanced forward with a distance of 6 54.8 m and there were 56 377 t coal totally produced from the coal mining face. The max month advancing distance of the coal miming face was 219. 6 m and the max month coal production of the coal mining face was 25 349 t.
