超宽带探地雷达煤层厚度探测试验研究

Experimental study on coal seam thickness measurement ofultra-wide band ground penetrating radar

  • 摘要: 综采工作面采煤机滚筒自动调高对于智能化开采具有重要意义,且传统煤岩探测技术不能同时兼顾探测深度与探测精度,采用超宽带探地雷达进行测量煤层厚度,继而可建立煤岩分界面实现采煤机滚筒自动调高。介绍了探地雷达装置设计构成并研究探地雷达用于煤岩分界的原理,合理布置超宽带探地雷达在综采工作面的安装方式,根据煤岩介电常数明显差异,分析雷达对于煤岩的穿透能力,将超宽带雷达静态与动态测试相结合,通过动态测试加强对静态测试数据的解释。将雷达示波器每帧512个采样点返回的数据,根据信号的幅值强度完成每帧数据的波形显示,测量的分辨率可达到4mm,为了便于分析煤岩分界位置,将采集的数据生成对应波形的灰度图,灰度图中黑白颜色的深度反映信号的强度。将波形图中信号波峰与波谷结合雷达灰度图实现煤岩分界位置的确定,计算出煤层厚度。雷达装置在工作面安装具备防水、防尘等恶劣环境的适应能力,在具备一定厚度的煤岩层分界处,在神东榆家梁煤矿与乌兰木伦煤矿进行煤厚测试。结果表明:中心频率为5.3~8.8 GHz的脉冲雷达配备带宽在0.9~5.0 GHz范围内的天线,探地雷达回波特性明显,且测试厚度与实际厚度误差可达10mm,能够穿透2m的煤岩层厚度,可对煤机自动调高提供参考,具有一定的应用价值。

     

    Abstract: The automatic height adjustment of the shearer drum in the fully mechanized mining face is of great significance for intelligent mining. The traditional coal and rock detection technology cannot take into account the detection depth and detection accuracy simultaneously. The ultra-wideband ground penetrating radar was used to measure the thickness of the coal seam, and the coal-rock interface can be established to realize the automatic height adjustment of the shearer drum. This paper introduced the design of ground penetrating radar device and studied the principle of ground penetrating radar used for coal and rock interface, and reasonably arranged the installation mode of UWB ground penetrating radar in fully mechanized mining face. According to the obvious difference of dielectric constant of coal and rock, the penetrating ability of radar for coal and rock was analyzed, the static and dynamic testing of UWB radar were combined, and the interpretation of static test data through dynamic testing was also strengthened. The data returned by the radar oscilloscope 512 samples per frame was used to complete the waveform display of each frame according to the amplitude of the signal. The resolution of the measurement can reach 4 mm. In order to analyze the boundary position of coal and rock, the collected data was generated into corresponding waveforms. The grayscale image, the depth of the black and white color in the grayscale image reflects the strength of signal. The signal peaks and troughs in the waveform diagram were combined with the radar grayscale map to determine the boundary position of coal and rock, and the thickness of coal seam was calculated. The radar device was equipped with a waterproof environment, dustproof and other harsh envi-ronments. The coal thickness test was carried out in Yujialiang Coal Mine and Wulanmulun Coal Mine of Shendong at the boundary of the coal and rock layers with a certain thickness. The results show that the center frequency for the 5.3~8.8 GHz pulse radar equipped with an antenna with a bandwidth of 0.9~5.0 GHz, the ground penetrating radar has obvious echo characteristics, and the test thickness and actual thickness error can reach 10 mm, which can penetrate the thickness of 2.0 m coal seam. It provides reference for automatic adjustment of coal machine and has certain application value.
