Abstract: The paper briefly analyzed the new tendency of the world coal production development and two landmark stages of the coal mine construction in China. The paper provided the major features of the world first class mine, put forward the basic idea of Shenhua Group to construct the world first class mine and systematica lly stated the access, expected target, evaluation system and main contents of ten engineerings to create the world first class mine.
